I took a little stroll down memory lane the other day. I thought a lot about this little girl and how she is growing into a beautiful little lady. This picture was taken around the time Asher was born. One memory will forever stay in my mind... when Astrid was helping me change Asher's diaper, the plasty bell from Asher's circumcision fell off. I was so scared that something was wrong that I looked at Astrid and said "Go get Grammy." She ran off and two seconds later came running in and said "She's coming, she's coming." I am so thankful that she is so willing to help me when I am in need of help. Also, the other day Sarilu and I were talking about Jack and Jake (the dogs)... about a month ago Jack and Jake got out of the house and Jake ended up on Austin Bluffs and Union, a very busy street, people got out of their cars and picked Jake up and took him to the pound. While we were talking about this Sarilu said "I know that the reason why these dogs are so protected is because Astrid is continuously praying for them." I never even thought about that but it is so true. I know that because of her faith in our Father in Heaven she knows He will keep them safe. I feel so blessed that I have been able to be apart of this little girls life and I am able to watch her grow. She has changed lives and she doesn't even know it.

FOOD TIME!

Asher is eating solids!!!!!!!!!!.... kinda! It was so funny to watch him eat his rice cereal. He looked at me with this disgusted look on his face and I am pretty sure half of his food ended up on his hands and bib. I love watching him develop and I am enjoying all of the different stages of his life. What a blessing he is to us.
Asher and Grampie :)
Marcos wanted to make the same face Asher was making

Fall Time!

My mom grew pumpkins in her garden this year. She hasn't grown pumpkins in a couple years so she was pretty excited about this batch and that Asher would be able to pick a pumpkin. As you can see he wasn't too sure about these things called pumpkins especially the green one.

Three Months Old!!! These have been the best three months of my life. I am so thankful to have Asher here and to have him as my son. He has been such a blessing to Lex and I, he's amazing. It is so much fun to watch him continue to develop. When we talk he will find our faces and stares at us, usually with a smile. Seeing that smile every day is amazing. He likes to play with his feet (when he finds them) and he LOVES looking at all the different colors and shapes of this blanket. Thank you Aunt Jasmine ;) He is able to hold his head up for the most part but he is still working on holding up his upper body. He loves to wake up early in the morning and when he sees that Lex and I are awake he gets this big smile on his smile and let's out a scream. He is talking like crazy, well baby talk, it is funny to listen to him. He is a baby that likes movement, if you're not moving he will let you know he is not happy and the minute you stand up silence (that's our fault we never put him down). He is absolutely everything we could have ever wanted and more!
